WELL IT HAS BEEN HARD TO FIND TIME TO KEEP UP WITH THE WORK AND THE WEB SITE TO BUT WE ARE TRYING. CHRIS'S KNUCKLE WAS QUITE A CHALLENGE AS WE PRETTY WELL STARTED WITH THE S&S CASES AND FLYWHEELS AND HAD TO FIGURE OUT WHAT ELSE WAS NEEDED AS THE REPACEMENT CASES DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THE ORIGINAL BOTTOM END PARTS. IT IS NEVER DULL!

 

 

 

WE HAD TO START REAL FRESH AND BALANCE THE BOTTOM END BECAUSE ALL OF THE PARTS WERE NEW AND NOT MATCHED. IT TAKES A WHILE BUT IS WELL WORTH IT IN THIS KIND OF CASE.

 

 

 

 

 REMOVING THE EXTRA WEIGHT OFF OF THE WHEELS IS A TAKE A BIT AND CHECK...TAKE A BIT AND CHECK TYPE OF OPERATION. IT IS ALWAYS EASY TO TAKE IT OFF BUT IF YOU HAVE TO ADD WEIGHT TO A WHEEL YOU WILL WISH YOU HAD GONE A LITTLE SLOWER WITH THE DRILL ...BELIEVE ME. SO WE JUST TAKE OUR TIME HERE.

 

 

AFTER WE ARE DONE BALANCING WE ASSEMBLED THE WHEELS AND TRUED THEM UP TO WIHIN .001". GOOD TO GO!!

  

THE CASES REQUIRED SOME REAMING AND WE HAD TO MACHINE A SPECIAL BUSHING TO TAKE THE NEWER PINION SHAFT AND GET IT TO WORK WITH THE OLD KNUCKLE CAM COVER. ONCE THESE MAJOR PROBLEMS WERE IRONED OUT WE WERE ON TO THE BUILD.
